State of Optical Access Networks - Standards, Deployments and Applications

Optical Access Networks (OANs) have become an essential building block in the digital infrastructure of our time, connecting homes, businesses, factories and other communication networks. The purpose of this workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners in the field of Optical Access Networks to discuss the current state of the OAN standards, deployments and applications. The workshop is featured by two hour-long tutorials from leading experts in this field to share with the audience a holistic view on the state of OAN, followed by a moderated panel discussion. We invite professors, graduate students, and engineers alike to participate in this workshop, and bring your questions to our panel experts. Access to the workshop is free. Online participation will also be provided through Tencent meeting.
